TomoSonic is a 3-D tomography imaging tool that supplements the CHA output. This analysis is useful in cases where CHA-W analysis reveals a defect but does not give a precise idea of its extent. TomoSonic helps to visualize the local defect in two or three dimensions by producing 2-D or 3-D color coded images of the shaft. The TomoSonic software combines arrival time data from the scans of all pairs of tubes. It then analyses these data and display it in various views. |
